Based in Italy since 2016 David Plaisant has developed a unique and very eclectic approach to storytelling. Working with magazines, newspapers, cultural institutions and design brands, and using the same approach for both editorial and commercial projects: the goal is always to create a product that is thought provoking and well-researched.
David is Monocle’s Rome Correspondent and he is the voice behind From the Moon, a podcast launched by Triennale Milano in 2021. This ambitious series of eight episodes tackles many of the vital issues facing the planet today, from climate change to social inequality, all through a cultural lens.
In 2022 Wallpaper* magazine included The Couch - Conversations on Design in its list of top 10 design podcasts. David conceived, produced and wrote this series for prestigious Italian design brand B&B Italia in 2020. Domus magazine nominated Architecture & Anthropocene, another of David’s creations, as one of the best design and architecture podcasts to listen to in 2022. In January 2021, Interni magazine featured David Plaisant as a new Italy-based podcaster to look out for.
